On the occasion of the opening of the web page of Academe of CPC History, Yan’an University, I give my heartfelt thanks to and in sincere honor of all our friends who are concerned about and support the construction of the discipline of CPC history of Yan’an University.
The foundation of our discipline of CPC history of Yan’an University can be traced back to Yan’an times. In 1958, when our university reestablished, senior scholars participated in the preparation of Yan’an Revolutionary commemorative museum, and laid foundation for the construction of the discipline of CPC history of our university. Since reform and opening up, our university has been taking the discipline of CPC history as a “No. One Discipline”, and achieving excellent results continuously. Faculty of this discipline has won many major prizes, including a national prize of “Five Firsts Project”, a national Prize for Excellent Teaching Achievements, and a Prize for Excellent Teaching Achievements of Shaanxi Province, and has been increasingly influential in the field of CPC history, and enjoys good reputation. Yan’an is a Chinese revolutionary holy land, and is exclusively blessed in the disciplinary construction of CPC history. We are determined to take the PC History as a new starting point, persevere in making full use of advantages, giving prominence to our distinctive feature, and refining internal work in the construction CPC history disciple, and strengthen external exchange and cooperation, so as to make greater contribution to initiating new favorable situation in the cause of CPC history, especially deepening the research on CPC during the Yan’an times, exploring into the law and experience of the Party’s creating splendor, putting into full play Yan’an spirit and the function of the basis for education of revolutionary tradition, and promoting the construction of socialism with Chinese characters and the construction of the Party’s advanced level.
I fervently hope that our friends will be concerned with, support and help the construction of CPC history discipline at Yan’an University!
